Facebook’s app-focused New Product Experimentation team has introduced a new initiative the Collab app, a platform to attract an audience with TikTok style generation.
Currently, Collab is an invite-only beta app for iOS users as per the NPE team who released it. Collab allows the users to create, watch, and then mash up videos and music to build more entertainment for all.

“Collab has made our team feel closer together, even though we are all apart, and we hope it does the same for you,” Brittany Mennuti, a Facebook product lead, said in the release.
Soon Facebook will be sending the invites in batches to let users enjoy this app in Canada and US country for now.
Facebook will be opening up invites in batches, starting with folks in the US and Canada. If you want to access then you can sign up for a waitlist here at https://npe.fb.com/collab.
Collab seems to be the latest Facebook project to make it an audience-specific platform. And with lockdown around the corner, they have also added another feature in their messenger to chat allowing up to 50 people to talk at one time through their platform.
