Follow this simple procedure while wearing contact lenses:
- Clean your hands thoroughly using antibacterial soap and water, then dry them with a lint-free cloth before putting in contact lenses. Make sure no oil or grim get into your contact lens.
- Open the case and take out one lens, either the right or the left one.
- Place the lens right side out on your index finger.
- Pull the upper eyelid using the index finger of one hand and pull down the lower eyelid using the middle finger of the same hand that is carrying the lens.
- Gently place the lens on the cornea and slowly release the lower eyelid. Adjust the lens by blinking your eye.
- If you are finished with the procedure, repeat the same procedure with the other eye.
How to remove contact lenses
Follow this simple procedure while removing contact lenses:
- Before removing lenses, wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and water.
- Open either the left or the right eyelid using the index finger and thumb.
- Carefully pull the lens down using the thumb and index finger of the other hand. The contact lens will stick on your index finger.
- Clean the lens using the rub and rinse method. Do not rinse with water, use a cleaning solution.
- Store them in the case contain the solution.
- If you are finished with the procedure, repeat the same procedure with the other eye.
